Check the Slew Drive

When disassembling the slew drive, the outer ring of the slew drive should be connected with the upper carriage, and the inner circle should be combined with the lower vehicle. The sealing ring on the slew drive should be cleaned and put in place. The suitable crane should separate the equipment, and the screws and bolts on the slew drive should be removed. Cover the steel ball and isolation sleeve completely, and check the steel ball and isolation sleeve. To prevent the steel ball, clean it and put it in the sunlight to see whether there are pits or pits on the steel ball. If there is a crack or damage on the isolation sleeve, it is necessary to replace it in time.

Maintenance and Inspection of Slewing Drive

The slew drive raceway should be filled with grease regularly. Generally, ball bearings should be oiled every 100 hours, and roller bearings should be lubricated every 50 hours. The lubrication cycle should be shortened in a unique working environment, such as tropical, humidity, dust, temperature difference, and continuous operation. The machine must also be filled with new grease before and after a long-term shutdown. The raceway must be filled with grease every time until it seeps from the sealing belt. Rotate the slew drive slowly to fill the grease evenly when filling grease.

The tooth surface should always be cleaned of debris and coated with the corresponding grease. After the first 100 hours of operation of the slew drive, the bolt preload should be checked, and then it should be checked every 500 hours. Sufficient preload must be maintained. Pay attention to the operation of the slew drive during use. In case of noise, impact, and sudden power increase, the machine should be shut down immediately for inspection and troubleshooting. If necessary, it should be disassembled for inspection. It is forbidden to wash the slew drive directly with water to prevent ice and snow from entering the raceway. Strictly control challenging foreign matters from approaching or entering the gear meshing area. Check the sealing condition regularly. If the sealing bag is damaged, it should be replaced in time. If it is found to fall off, it should be reset in time.
